It is difficult to describe what yoga is, as each journey is so individual.
For some it is a way to stretch and move your body, for others it is a form of meditation, and still for others it is a way of life.
Though there are many debates about this subject, in our belief system, yoga is what you choose for it to be, and whatever it evolves and transforms into.
Why private yoga? There are many reasons people may prefer private yoga - they are new to yoga, they do not wish to be in a class environment, or they have specific goals or modifications that can be better addressed in a one-on-one session. All of these reasons, and any others, are understandable! For your first Private Yoga session, there will be a brief interview and assessment, discussing your goals, any injuries and health conditions that may affect your practice so we may best tailor the sequencing to you. We will then go through a 45 minute sequence designed with the initial assessment in mind, and then a short chat to see what you liked and disliked about the sequence. We will then set up subsequent session if you wish to continue. Session packages available!.
